Intention

These rituals are crafted to restore balance by honoring the living relationship between the moon and the sun.

Lunar practices often ignore the solar truth of the land we stand on. But real alignment requires both. The moon mirrors our inner world, while the sun shapes the outer—governing seasons, growth, and the rhythm of life.

That’s why each Full Moon ritual comes in two versions: one for the Northern Hemisphere and one for the Southern. Though we share the same moon, the sun’s position—and therefore the season—is completely different depending on where you are.

Take the Libra Full Moon: it always rises with the sun in Aries. In the North, that’s spring’s emergence. In the South, it signals the cooling descent into autumn.

To follow one ritual for both would be to miss half of the balance creating a unified whole.

We honor this sacred polarity—sun and moon,

feminine and masculine—so you can live in harmony with both the cosmos and the Earth beneath your feet.

This is how we return to balance.

Northern Hemisphere Ritual

Libra Full Moon

The Libra Full Moon always rises between the sacred fire of Imbolc, usually after Spring Equinox,  and the fertile flame of Beltane—a passageway of blossoming life in the Northern Hemisphere. It arrives only when the Sun is in Aries, the sign that ignites the zodiac and ushers in spring through the Solar Gate of the Spring  Equinox.

✨ Libra Full Moon Ritual: Rebalancing with Beauty ✨

1. Set the Space
Light a candle or some incense. Let it be beautiful, simple, and intentional. Libra is ruled by Venus—so bring in something that delights your senses (a flower, soft fabric, or gentle music).

2. Breathe & Center
Take 3 slow breaths. Inhale: Harmony. Exhale: Anything that feels off-kilter. Let your body soften.

3. Journal Prompt / Imagination
Ask yourself:

  • Where in my life do I need more balance?

  • What relationships are asking for more truth, peace, or beauty? ( if you do better with images versus words, allow images to come to you.

  • Feel into the guidance of the words—or the images that arise freely within you.
Then, let it all pour onto the pages of your journal without hesitation.
If you don’t have a journal nearby, simply set the intention to receive a cellular integration of what you’re hearing or being shown.
Allow yourself a few sacred moments to sit with it… to percolate, absorb, and be revealed to you. Writing truly is powerful, IF you have your journal.

4. Speak a Prayer or Intention
With your hand on your heart, say something like:I open to beauty, balance, and honest connection.
I release what no longer aligns and call in grace.
May I be assisted in integrating what my heart has revealed, in Divine Timing—with my Higher Self guiding the actions that support my great prayer:
to live in balanced harmony within my life.

5. Close in Gratitude
Thank the moon. Thank yourself.Thank the Divine God/dess. Thank your Higher Self. Thank all of the elements.  Sit in quiet for just a few moments more and FEEL the peace that is available to you when you simply create the intention and space for it.

Southern Hemisphere Ritual

Libra Full Moon

The Libra Full Moon in the Southern Hemisphere rises between the final fire of Lammas and the sacred descent of Samhain—a threshold where summer’s intensity begins to soften into autumn’s cooling embrace.
Though the Sun stands in Aries—the fiery initiator of the zodiac—this Full Moon marks a time not of rising heat, but of graceful surrender. It opens a doorway to rebalancing, inviting us to release, reflect, and restore harmony as the Earth prepares to turn inward.
